It's called a scootee, yes, that's two e's

Within a few minutes of exiting the airport, I saw some things that made me look twice, wondering if I really just saw that (and also made me wish that I was a better, faster photographer)

- a crow pick up a mouse and eat it

- a woman construction worker in shalwar kameez (Indian garb) with a pick axe next to a male construction worker, working side by side  (Tricia, I guess things are somewhat a'changin')

- emaciated cattle grazing in the meridian between two highway lanes

- entire families riding on small scooters called Scootees- no helmets, babies asleep on their Moms' shoulders squeezed between the two parents on the bike, zig-zagging along amongst tiny Hyuandis that are basically glorified smart cars and mini trucks that look like they're on toy wheels

Scootees are everywhere... there's probably one for every other man, woman, and child in the country

Stray animals on every street that have sad, subdued eyes that make you want to buy pet food and start a campaign for animal rights

Photos from my grandfather's home in Sonaria:
Coconut tree where my uncle told me that if I wanted some coconut water, he'd have a servant climb up and get one down for me.  I politely said, "thank you, I'm good" :)

This guy became dinner tonight.... just kidding..... he'll be dinner next week :P  No, but seriously, it really is a little creepy watching your food walk around before you eat it

The starfruit tree in my grandfather's backyard.... it doesn't taste like chicken....
